What you'll do
- Safely operate excavators/PC and wheel loaders in accordance with operating procedures, site requirements, and safety standards.
- Carry out earthmoving, loading, excavation, material handling, and related equipment operations as assigned.
- Conduct daily pre-start and routine equipment inspections and identify and report mechanical or operational issues.
- Perform basic operator-level maintenance and ensure equipment is kept in safe and serviceable operating condition.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate effectively with other operators and site personnel.
- Operate equipment appropriately according to ground conditions, work requirements, and site conditions.
- Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, vehicles, structures, and other hazards while operating heavy equipment.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and established site procedures at all times.
- Maintain good housekeeping around the equipment and work area.
- Perform any other duties related to heavy equipment operation as assigned by supervisors or management.

Purpose of the role
