About you:

You’re a people-first sales leader who enjoys helping others succeed. You know how to create a positive, accountable team culture and use data to make informed decisions. You’re confident coaching sales professionals through complex opportunities and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on support.

You’ll bring experience in leading and developing business-to-business (B2B) sales teams, ideally within a software as a service (SaaS) environment. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced business and enjoy finding new ways to improve performance, processes and results.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Development Associates and Business Development Managers, helping them achieve their goals and deliver strong sales results.
  • Use pipeline data, activity metrics and forecasting insights to identify opportunities, improve performance and support accurate sales planning.
  • Support your team through the full sales cycle, from discovery and qualification through to negotiation and closing opportunities.
  • Work closely with colleagues across marketing, customer success and product teams to maximise commercial opportunities and share customer feedback.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Experience using sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, CHAMP or similar sales qualification frameworks.
  • Experience managing sales territories, segmenting accounts and prioritising opportunities to maximise market coverage.
  • Confidence using customer relationship management (CRM) systems, such as HubSpot, to manage pipelines and maintain accurate records.
  • An interest in the charity and not-for-profit sector, with an appreciation of how technology can help organisations achieve their goals.
