About the Role — Night Auditor: £13.65 per hour

As a Night Auditor, you play a unique and essential part in the guest journey. You’ll handle late‑night check-ins, support guests throughout the night, and complete end‑of‑day financial duties with accuracy and confidence. You’ll also help with breakfast preparation, ensuring our guests start their day with a warm, welcoming experience.

Residence Inn Edinburgh is an apartment-style hotel in the heart of the city, conveniently located in the vibrant Quartermile area next to a range of cafes and restaurants. It offers a quiet haven in the bustling city for both business and leisure travellers, and your leadership will be central to making every guest feel genuinely at home from the moment they arrive.

This is a dynamic overnight position covering:

  • Night-time guest service
  • Financial and audit tasks
  • Safety and security checks
  • Communication and administrative support
  • Early-morning breakfast setup & light cooking
  • Supporting other departments when needed

Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Communication

Breakfast Setup & Light Cooking

  • Maintain awareness of activity around the property during night hours.
  • Follow emergency procedures when required.

  • Uphold all Marriott standards for quality, appearance, and conduct.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Physical Elements

  • Move, lift, and carry items up to 10 lbs without assistance.
  • Stay active throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent
