About this role

About the opportunity:

Universal Partners is one of the UK's fastest-growing financial services businesses, specialising in foreign exchange, international payments and business finance solutions. Since launching, we've experienced exceptional growth and continue to expand our teams across the business.

We're looking for an organised and proactive Office Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

This is a varied position combining office administration, operational support and general business coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll act as a central point of support across the business, helping to keep administrative processes, operational activities and office functions running smoothly.

Working closely with teams across Sales, Dealing, Finance, Compliance and the wider business, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable exposure across our growing organisation while making a genuine impact.

In particular, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and office support across the business.
  • Support operational processes and maintain accurate records, trackers and databases.
  • Assist with data entry, reporting and the preparation of management information.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and ensure enquiries are allocated appropriately.
  • Coordinate meetings, diaries, room bookings and meeting materials.
  • Manage correspondence, deliveries and company documentation.
  • Support process improvements and help identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
  • Manage office supplies and coordinate purchasing requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors and building management.
  • Support onboarding activities, company meetings, events and training sessions.
  • Assist with Health & Safety administration, office maintenance and general facilities support.
  • Provide general administrative support to managers and teams across the business.

Who we are looking for:

  • Previous experience within an administration, office support, operations or business support role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience maintaining records, reports and administrative systems.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and working independently.
  • A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach to work.
  • A positive, professional and team-focused attitude.
  • Willingness to learn, develop and take on new responsibilities.

Why you'll love working here:

  • Competitive salary of up to £30,000
  • Full training and ongoing development
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression
  • Exposure to a variety of departments and business functions
  • Friendly, supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Involvement in a growing and ambitious organisation
  • Varied responsibilities with no two days the same
  • Opportunity to make a real impact on the day-to-day running of the business

If you have the right attributes, skillset and feel you can add value to our business, we'd love to hear from you. Click apply today to find out more.
