Job Description:

Summary:


The Student Assistant will provide essential administrative and analytical support to the business team in the Office of Undergraduate Enrollment, with a particular focus on travel expense tracking, policy compliance, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting multiple ongoing projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Travel Expense Management: Create, update, and maintain detailed spreadsheets to track travel expenses related to recruitment activities. Ensure records are accurate, complete, and organized for reporting and auditing purposes.

  • Policy Compliance Review: Analyze travel data to verify that all expenses align with the university’s travel and expense policies. Identify and flag potential discrepancies for follow-up.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-time.

  • 20 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $18.40 per hour.
