What you'll do
- Review existing operational processes and identify gaps, bottlenecks, duplication, risks and areas of leakage.
- Develop, document and implement SOPs, process flows, checklists and approval matrices across departments.
- Manage and monitor showroom/retail operations, including opening/closing procedures, billing, customer handling, stock reconciliation and operational compliance.
- Establish strong controls for jewellery inventory, inward/outward movement, transfers, tagging, stock verification and reconciliation.
- Monitor gold and precious-metal movement, including issues to karigars, receipts, wastage, purity and metal reconciliation.
- Coordinate manufacturing and karigar operations, including job cards, material issue, production tracking, quality checks, delays and pending orders.
- Standardise processes related to purchases, vendors, repairs, alterations, exchanges and buybacks.
- Develop operational MIS reports and KPIs covering sales, inventory, stock ageing, manufacturing, repairs, customer leads and staff productivity.
- Conduct regular process audits, stock verification and compliance checks, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Work with management and teams to improve utilisation of ERP/POS, inventory systems, CRM and process automation.
- Train employees on SOPs and ensure processes are consistently followed.

We are looking for a highly organised and process-driven Operations Manager to manage, standardise and improve the day-to-day operations of a jewellery business.
The role requires someone who can understand existing processes, identify operational gaps, develop and implement SOPs, establish strong inventory and jewellery controls, monitor compliance, and create systems that improve efficiency and accountability.
The ideal candidate should be a strong “builder of systems” rather than someone who only manages routine operations.

Must-Have Skills
1. Jewellery Inventory & Operations Management
Strong understanding of jewellery stock movement, inventory reconciliation, retail operations and operational controls.
2. SOP & Process Implementation
Ability to identify process gaps and independently design, document, implement and monitor SOPs.
3. MIS, ERP/POS & Operational Controls
Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, MIS reporting, ERP/POS systems, audits, KPIs and data analysis.
Candidate Profile
