Oracle EBS Solution Architect

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle EBS applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze processes, and design solutions that optimize the use of Oracle EBS modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Configuration:

Lead and assist with Oracle EBS implementations, including system design, configuration, and integration across various modules such as Financials (GL, AP, AR), Supply Chain (Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management) and others.

System Customization:

Customize Oracle EBS to meet specific business needs, including creating custom reports, workflows, and interface solutions.

Support & Troubleshooting:

Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS users, resolving issues related to performance, functionality, and system errors.

Business Process Mapping:

Work with business teams to map business processes to Oracle EBS functionality, ensuring seamless business operations.

Testing & Validation:

Develop test scripts, perform functional testing, and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets the business requirements.

Documentation & Training:

Document system configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide training to end-users and prepare user manuals for Oracle EBS applications.

Upgrades & Patches:

Assist in the planning, execution, and validation of Oracle EBS upgrades, patches, and version migrations.

Integration & Data Migration:

Support data migration from legacy systems to Oracle EBS and ensure integration with third-party applications or systems.

Compliance & Security:

Ensure the system aligns with organizational policies and industry best practices for security, compliance, and data privacy.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and other consultants to ensure project success and meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: 10+years

5+ years of experience working with Oracle EBS applications (Functional or Technical expertise).

Hands-on experience with key Oracle EBS modules (Financials, SCM, Procurement, etc.).

Experience with Oracle EBS R12 or cloud versions is a plus.

Technical Skills (for Technical Consultant role):

Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture, forms, reports, and workflows.

Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Reports/Forms development.

Experience with Oracle BI (Business Intelligence) and integration with other systems.

Functional Skills (for Functional Consultant role):

Deep understanding of business processes in areas like Finance, Supply Chain, HR, or Procurement.

Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS functional configurations and the ability to translate business requirements into system specifications.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

Certifications:

Oracle EBS certification is a plus (e.g., Oracle EBS R12 Financials, Oracle EBS SCM).

Soft Skills:

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills:

Project Management:

Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools.

Integration Knowledge:

Experience with integrating Oracle EBS with third-party applications, APIs, or web services.

Upgrade and Migration:

Experience with Oracle EBS upgrade projects and data migration from legacy systems.

Cloud Experience:

Knowledge of Oracle Cloud applications (ERP, SCM, HCM, etc.) is a plus.
