About this role

Do you love building strong relationships and delivering a genuinely personal service? We’re looking for a Relationship Specialist to support our prestigious James Collection Studio in Dartmouth, becoming a trusted partner to our holiday homeowners and helping their properties perform at their very best.

Your mission

As our Relationship Specialist, your mission is to build trusted, long-term relationships with a portfolio of property owners, delivering the highly personalised, relationship-led service they expect.

With a visible local presence in Dartmouth, you’ll combine exceptional service with commercial insight to strengthen owner loyalty, protect the reputation of the James Collection and support the continued growth of the Awaze portfolio.

What you'll be doing

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with property owners, tailoring your communication and support to their individual needs.

  • Provide premium customer service to our guests and owners

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of each property and regularly visit homes to identify opportunities to enhance presentation, guest appeal and commercial performance.

  • Use market insight, pricing data and your local knowledge to make proactive recommendations that help owners get the best from their properties.

  • Protect and champion the prestige of the James Collection through every owner interaction.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and prioritise activity, manage follow-ups and support effective portfolio management.

  • Identify opportunities for referrals, testimonials and advocacy, helping strengthen the James Collection brand and local reputation.

  • Support portfolio growth by identifying prospective owners and working closely with Business Development to create a seamless, premium experience.

  • Act as the voice of our owners within the business, sharing feedback and insights that help improve our services.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re naturally relationship-focused and take pride in delivering an exceptional level of service. You’ll be comfortable getting to know owners and guests, spotting opportunities and turning insight into practical recommendations.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience delivering exceptional customer, owner or client service in a premium environment.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

  • A professional and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to handle sensitive or complex queries with care.

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across operational, commercial and service teams.

  • Knowledge of the Dartmouth or wider Devon holiday letting market would be an advantage.

How you'll make an impact

  • Help improve revenue, occupancy and commercial performance through proactive recommendations and effective follow-up.

  • Help grow the James Collection portfolio through local relationships, referrals and prospective owner introductions.

  • Consistently deliver premium service standards across owner communications, property visits and issue resolution.

  • Become a trusted adviser to owners, adding measurable commercial value while developing lasting relationships.

  • Use accurate CRM data and owner insights to focus activity where it will have the greatest impact.

  • Generate positive owner feedback, testimonials and referrals where appropriate.

  • Work collaboratively across Awaze to deliver outstanding outcomes for our owners and guests.

Worth knowing 

This role is full-time, permanent, and based fully in our brand new Dartmouth studio. We are open Monday-Saturday, so flexibility to work weekends is essential for this role. We also require the successful candidate to have a full, clean driving license.
