Packaging Project Engineer

360 Role in Sales, Service, Installation

My client is an independent, fast-growing packaging company. Their
business is machinery sales, service & installation. The company has
expanded its business throughout the UK and into Europe, thus requiring a
Project Engineer.

As Project Engineer, you will need to be from an Engineering or Technical
background. Your aim as Project Engineer, is to increase your client’s
productivity and efficiency. You will be expected to work closely with sales
teams on site, designing and planning for production.

You will be expected to manage several projects at any given time. Being
able to collaborate on factory layouts of all sizes, taking ownership ahead
of installation, commissioning equipment.

My client is looking for an Engineer with three or more years’ experience
ideally. However, if you are an experienced engineer within the packaging
sector with some project experience of less than three years with the drive
and knowledge working within the food manufacturing sector or similar
production working environment, you would also be considered.

Core Tasks

• Visiting clients – initial engineering clarification.

• Identify potential bottlenecks – to provide solutions.

• Hub – Be the link between machinery suppliers and clients.
