Job Summary: 

PTZ Pet Insurance is seeking a Paid Media Manager who is a data-driven, growth-oriented marketing leader to own performance marketing strategy and execution across our direct-to-consumer business. This role will lead acquisition performance with paid search as the largest investment area while influencing broader channel strategy across paid social, programmatic, affiliate, partnerships, marketplaces, and emerging acquisition channels. 

The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with hands-on media expertise and a strong commercial mindset. They are equally comfortable optimizing campaigns, challenging attribution assumptions, influencing executive decisions, and identifying the next sources of profitable customer growth. 

This role is accountable for driving efficient customer acquisition, improving conversion performance, and scaling revenue while balancing CAC, LTV, and profitability goals. 

 

Job Location: Remote – USA 

 

Main Responsibilities:      

Growth Strategy & Business Ownership 

  • Own customer acquisition performance across paid search and broader performance marketing channels. 

  • Develop annual and quarterly growth plans aligned to business objectives and revenue targets. 

  • Identify scalable growth opportunities across channels, audiences, products, and markets. 

  • Recommend investment allocations based on performance, incrementality, and business impact. 

  • Influence forecasting, budget planning, and growth targets. 

Paid Search Leadership 

  • Own strategy and performance across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, and emerging search experiences. 

  • Guide keyword, audience, bidding, creative, landing page, and measurement strategies. 

  • Develop testing roadmaps to improve efficiency and acquisition volume. 

  • Partner with agencies and platform teams to ensure best-in-class execution. 

Conversion & Funnel Optimization 

  • Partner with product, UX, analytics, and lifecycle marketing teams to improve conversion across the acquisition journey. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve quote starts, quote completions, sales conversion, and customer onboarding. 

  • Lead landing page testing and CRO initiatives. 

  • Translate customer insights into performance improvements. 

Analytics & Measurement 

  • Monitor CAC, LTV, conversion rate, contribution margin, ROAS, and incrementality metrics. 

  • Evaluate attribution models and measurement approaches. 

  • Develop executive-level reporting and performance narratives. 

  • Partner with analytics teams to identify actionable insights and optimization opportunities. 

Agency & Vendor Management 

  • Lead external agencies and platform relationships. 

  • Hold partners accountable to business outcomes. 

  • Evaluate new technologies, tools, and marketing partners. 

  • Ensure strategic alignment across all performance marketing investments. 

Innovation 

  • Stay ahead of industry trends including AI search, automation, audience targeting, and measurement innovation. 

  • Launch and evaluate new channel pilots. 

  • Develop recommendations for emerging acquisition opportunities. 

 

Basic Qualifications:
