Paving Laborer

What you'll do
- Lift heavy loads up to and exceeding 70 pounds.
- Identify utility lines.
- Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site.
- Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew which requires standing in one place for long periods of time.
- Backfill trenches and pit when necessary.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily.
- Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt dirt and concrete.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Remove and properly dispose of debris and waste materials.
- Travel to work on remote job sites as directed by management.
- Performs related duties as assigned
- Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures

Job Purpose:
The Paving Laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Lift heavy loads up to and exceeding 70 pounds.
