  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-volume frontline and blue-collar roles.

  • Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate suitability, including physical requirements, shift flexibility, and role fit.
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters and manage pre-employment documentation.
  • Track onboarding progress to minimise no-shows and drop-offs.
  • Ensure recruitment system accuracy and compliance with governance processes.
  • Provide recruitment reports and insights on hiring progress, pipeline health, and trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment and HR processes through LEAN practices.
  • Act as the onsite touchpoint for employees and managers on matters related to the employee lifecycle.
  • Support the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives.

About the role

This role plays a critical part in enabling our operations by ensuring the timely and efficient hiring and support of the frontline workforce within Contract Logistics. The People Advisor will partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to deliver high-volume recruitment solutions in a fast-paced logistics environment. In addition to being a recruitment specialist, this role will also serve as an HR generalist, responsible for resolving employee inquiries on HR policies and procedures, including compensation, benefits, performance management, leave, payroll, HR applications etc.

This role will be based in Derrimut or Tullamarine.

  • Guide employees and managers in using Workday and other HR self-service tools to support technology adoption.
  • Maintain HR data quality and perform transactions in Workday and other HR applications.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to support departmental administration and operational activities.
