See yourself in our team

People Care supports leaders and employees across CommBank to navigate work and non-work related illness and injury. The team provides early intervention, practical guidance and case management support, helping our people remain at work or return to work safely.

As a People Care Consultant, you'll partner with leaders, employees and key stakeholders to manage health-related matters from referral through to resolution. You'll provide practical, solutions-focused support while helping leaders confidently navigate sensitive and often complex situations.

What your role will involve

Reporting to the Executive Manager, People Care Health, Safety & Wellbeing, you'll support employees through work and non-work related injury and illness by delivering tailored case management, early intervention and return to work strategies.

Working closely with leaders, rehabilitation providers and medical professionals, you'll help remove barriers to recovery, coordinate effective support plans and enable positive outcomes for both employees and the business. You'll play an important role in reducing unplanned absence, improving employee wellbeing outcomes and building leader capability in managing health-related matters.

You'll also contribute to the ongoing evolution of the People Care function by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, programs and service delivery.

On any given day, you will
