Pipefitter Chargehand

Aureol Global Connections is looking for an experienced Pipefitter Chargehand to lead and supervise pipefitting teams on various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of pipefitting work while guiding team members and coordinating work activities. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical skills and the ability to manage project timelines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate pipefitting activities on site, ensuring compliance with standards and safety protocols.
• Lead and mentor pipefitting team members to achieve high-quality workmanship.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan piping installations.
• Perform pipefitting work as necessary to support the team.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
• Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
• Promote a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational qualifications in pipefitting preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Pipefitter, including supervisory or chargehand experience.
• Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid pipefitting certifications and a driver’s license are an advantage.
