About this role

Job Summary

The Sales Associate is at the heart of delivering outstanding customer experience, consistently providing exceptional service that exceeds expectations. By engaging with customers, identifying their needs, offering personalized recommendations, and promoting the store's membership program, this individual will play a key role in driving sales performance and ensuring the store’s success. This individual must have the ability to connect with customers, maintain a positive and welcoming environment, and promote the store’s products will directly contribute to creating memorable shopping experiences with enthusiasm and energy.

Essential Job Functions

  • Promptly greet and assist customers: Acknowledge their presence immediately, offer assistance, and efficiently manage multiple customers at once
  • Anticipate and fulfill customer needs: Utilize product knowledge to assess customer preferences, answer questions, guide them to relevant merchandise, and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques while staying knowledgeable about product availability
  • Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards by keeping product displays organized and attractive.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
  • Execute inventory management tasks including restocking and product organization.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to effectively recommend and sell merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean and professional store environment.
  • Participate in store promotions and sales events to support overall business objectives.
  • Ability to access and organize stock in high storage areas, ensuring efficient retrieval and placement while following safety protocols.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule that supports the business, including days, evenings, weekends, and potential overnight shifts and travel as necessary.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Basic math abilities are a must.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Retail sales experience preferred.

Pay Range

USD $14.00 - USD $16.50 /Hr.
