Press Toolmaker - Engineering - Worcestershire

Worcestershire | £35,000–£40,000 | Permanent | Full Time We are looking for an experienced Press Toolmaker to join an established engineering business following the retirement of a long-serving member of the toolroom team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that has recently expanded through acquisition and has ambitious growth plans over the coming years. You'll be joining a well-equipped toolroom where craftsmanship and quality are highly valued, working on progression press tools from day one. Role Description: Manufacture, repair, refurbish and service progression press tooling. Diagnose tooling failures and identify root causes. Carry out preventative and corrective tool maintenance. Work with surface grinders, milling machines and wire erosion equipment. Support production by ensuring tooling is maintained to a high standard. Contribute to continuous improvement within the toolroom. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Press Toolmaker. Strong progression press tooling experience is essential. Ability to manufacture, repair and service press tools independently. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Experience working within a precision engineering or toolroom environment. What's in it for you? Salary of £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience. Four-day working week (Monday to Thursday). 39-hour week with flexible start times. Friday morning overtime available when required. Overtime paid at: Time and one-third during the week. Time and a half on Saturdays. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
