We're looking for someone who can deliver robust, manufacturable mechanical designs while taking increasing ownership of project delivery and technical decision-making. You'll develop innovative solutions that meet product performance objectives, proactively identify and challenge performance gaps, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and PRC throughout the development process.

You'll be responsible for creating accurate project schedules and work breakdown structures, while building strong, trusted relationships across our global engineering team to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Performance: Drive product performance expected of the brand, identifying and challenging design gaps with limited direction

  • Design Execution: Deliver on project goals with minimal oversight, considering all details of the design and their effects on the project

  • Technical Communication: Present technical information to cross-functional teams and drive clear communication with support groups and PRC

  • Problem Escalation: Proactively alert stakeholders to obstacles and roadblocks, bringing potential solutions to the table

  • Product Innovation: Deliver product innovation and apply root-cause problem solving toward creative solutions

What we need from you:

  • Proficient in tolerance stack-ups and CAD modelling of complex parts and assemblies

  • Capable in FEA, mathematical analysis of mechanisms, and failure analysis

  • Good understanding of materials, heat treatments, and manufacturing processes

  • Able to apply appropriate drawing specifications for function and manufacturing

  • Growing knowledge of the overall NPD process and project scheduling (WBS)
