About The Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to own Core HR, the foundation for everything our platform builds on. That means employee records, lifecycle events, and the day-to-day workflows that let our global clients manage their people, not just pay them. You'll own execution across the full product lifecycle for Core HR, working cross-functionally with engineering, design, QA, and go-to-market.

This is a role for someone who's done this before: you've owned a roadmap for a system of record, know how HR data models get complicated fast across geographies and legal entities, and can turn ambiguity into a clear plan without much handholding. We're looking for solid product judgment and the experience to back it, not a specific job title.

You'll report directly to our Head of Product.

Areas You'll Own

  • Employee profiles and records
  • Onboarding and offboarding workflows
  • Time off and leave management
  • Employee lifecycle events (promotions, transfers, terminations)
  • Core HR dashboards and reporting
  • Compliance workflows tied to employee data across jurisdictions

What You'll Do

Product development

  • Drive discovery, market research, competitive analysis, and roadmap development for Core HR, the employee data model, lifecycle workflows, and the reporting built on top of it
  • Translate strategy into clear, actionable requirements and user stories engineering can build from
  • Own product documentation, business cases, use cases, technical requirements, and expected ROI
  • Make sure every release lines up with both customer needs and company goals, with an eye on data integrity and cross-border compliance

Stakeholder engagement

  • Turn feedback from internal stakeholders and external customers into concrete prioritization decisions
  • Act as the connective tissue between engineering and the rest of the business, keeping Core HR features aligned with market needs
  • Partner with engineering, QA, design, marketing, and sales to plan, build, and launch
  • Run Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and keep them useful, not performative
  • Work with QA to define testing strategy and protect release quality, especially around data migrations and lifecycle events

Market awareness & research

  • Stay sharp on HR tech trends, customer pain points, and the competitive landscape
  • Use that knowledge to keep the roadmap a step ahead, not just reactive

Documentation & reporting

  • Keep clear, current documentation for project plans, timelines, requirements, and status
  • Communicate progress and learnings to stakeholders on a regular cadence
  • Develop external-facing content on Core HR features and functionality for customers

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management or a closely related role at a technology or SaaS company
  • A track record of owning the product lifecycle and shipping impactful B2B solutions, ideally involving employee data, HRIS, or systems-of-record
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, you work fluidly across engineering, design, and business teams
  • Comfort turning complex business needs, especially ones shaped by multi-country compliance, into clear technical requirements
  • Real experience in Agile environments, including hands-on sprint planning and backlog grooming
  • A customer-first mindset balanced with strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • A self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and fast pace
  • Experience in HCM, HRIS, or core HR platforms is strongly preferred
