About the Role 

As a Product Manager for our Production Platform you will drive digital solutions that connect manufacturing equipment, production systems, and operational data into a scalable and reliable production ecosystem. 

You will work with software engineers and manufacturing / automation experts to define products and services that support production control, validation and simulation services in the design and series operation phases of manufacturing as well as solutions for maintaining proper operational transparency. By translating factory needs into product solutions, you will help improve how manufacturing capabilities are integrated, monitored, and continuously optimized across our production environment. 

ON-SITE COLLABORATION  Regular on-site work at our Richen production plant is expected. You will work closely with software developers, automation engineers, industrial engineers, and production stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the manufacturing environment, discover opportunities, validate solutions, and support successful product adoption. 

What You'll Be Doing

What You Bring 

Experience 

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in B2B, industrial technology, manufacturing, automation, or platform environments. 
  • Experience working with software products and technical systems in manufacturing, automation, industrial data, simulation, machine integration, or related technology domains. 
  • Proven success in driving digital product initiatives and delivering outcomes in cross-functional environments involving engineering, software development, and operational stakeholders. 
  • Experience translating operational challenges and business needs into product roadmaps, requirements, and resulting scalable solutions. 

Education 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline. 
  • Equivalent professional experience combined with a strong track record in Product Management will also be considered. 

Skills 

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, strong collaboration and the ability to align diverse stakeholders 
  • Ability to understand technical systems and translate complexity into clear product decisions and priorities. 
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies  
  • Skills in Product Brief writing, process mapping and in management of roadmaps 
  • Working with AI tools (Artificial Intelligence) to improve productivity in daily work 
  • Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
