Production Assistant - Contractor

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team on a part-time contract basis. As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing production processes, ensuring high-quality output, and meeting project deadlines.

THE JOB:

• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process, performing checks and troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Work closely with internal teams and vendor partners, to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.
• Manage and support packaging, shipping and receiving efforts.
• Support management of production materials and supplies, ensuring timely shipping and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate records of projects and production activities, documenting in the appropriate channels and platforms.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance efficiencies.
• Be a valued member of the Archrival Operations Team, lending input and feedback as needed

THE RIGHT TYPE OF PERSON:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to carry and lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Access to reliable transportation and ability to make trips between storage unit, shipping facility, etc. 

 

OTHER NEED TO KNOWS

• This is a part-time contract position working on average 5-10 hours per week - with the ability to potentially work more in busy season.
• This role is based in Portland, OR and is required to be in office.
• Contractor will be compensated $20-$30 per hour based on experience.
