  • Own and nurture relationships with assigned strategic customers.
  • Lead recurring customer meetings covering service performance, system status, key issues, emerging threats and recommended actions.
  • Develop and maintain 12-month customer program roadmaps. Identify short- and long-term security program goals.
  • Track roadmap deliverables, risks, dependencies and deadlines. Provide technical guidance regarding Proofpoint products, features and functionality.
  • Coordinate complex production changes involving multiple services or technologies. Manage customer escalations and advocate internally for resolution.
  • Monitor customer cases for accuracy, progress and compliance with service-level objectives.
  • Help customers mature their security posture and demonstrate measurable program value.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with service briefs, standard operating procedures and Proofpoint best practices.

The role

The PSM acts as a technical and strategic adviser to assigned customers, helping them maximize the value of their Proofpoint products and managed services. The role is responsible for customer satisfaction, retention, program maturity and identifying opportunities to expand the customer’s security program.
