Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager with a Chemistry background to support our R&D operations. The candidate will act as a bridge between the R&D team and the respective business units, ensuring smooth communication, timely project updates, and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between R&D and business teams for project-related updates.
- Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all tasks are on schedule.
- Gather status updates on ongoing research activities and escalate delays when needed.
- Coordinate material requirements—identify what is needed, check availability, and follow up for procurement.
- Maintain project documentation, data sheets, reports, and trackers in Excel.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, ensuring clarity and alignment on project goals.
- Visit the Pan India R&D site periodically to review progress and collect updates.
- Support R&D managers in planning, resource allocation, and execution of project activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and safety standards in handling chemicals and lab-related activities.
Requirement & qualification
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry (mandatory).
- 5+ years of experience in an R&D for Metal-Metallurgy for Hydro and Electro ,Biologics, Material Science, Advance Material-EV/HPM/Battery/Recycle, Polymer
- Strong understanding of chemicals, laboratory workflows, and R&D processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (reports, tracking sheets, data management)
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to travel as and when required.
