Overview Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a leading, reputable construction main contractor based in Nottingham delivering projects across the Midlands. Client Based in Nottingham, our client prides themselves on the quality of their work, delivering varied and interesting construction projects across the Midlands and North. An established construction main contractor with the client at the focus of their approach, they offer a consistent service across the public and private sectors. With a large portfolio of schemes, our client operates across the MOD, healthcare, MOJ, education, commercial and industrial sectors. You will be leading on various construction projects alongside the senior management team and given all the necessary tools to build a long-term and successful career. Responsibilities Running all on-site operations, including subcontractors, materials, and equipment Managing the day to day running of the projects and providing clear direction to those working on the construction site regarding their responsibilities and targets Managing and implementing of health and safety procedures. Ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are followed and adhered to Ensuring site presentation is always maintained at the correct standard Producing accurate progress reports and ensuring that they are updated accordingly Attending and leading client and project progress meetings Person Current or previous roles as a Project Manager on behalf of a construction main contractor Be SC Cleared or be able to pass an SC Clearance Strong person management and delegation skills Effective communication and listening skills A good understanding of the building regulations, local authority agreements Previous experience working within the commercial construction industry on new build schemes Ability to organise and prioritise your workload Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid Remuneration Competitive salary and package Company car, van, or allowance Regular opportunities for progression Variety of projects and reputable regional business
