Job Description

  • Conducting property loss control inspections of various types of process industries and commercial properties.  This will include occupancies such as: Process Industries, Stadiums, Data Centers, High Rises, Metal Workers, Distribution Centers, Museums, and Hospitals. 
  • Performing risk assessment account reviews for underwriters, account/broker meetings, and presentations.
  • Evaluating sprinkler systems, building additions, and fire alarm plan reviews and providing guidance to clients
  • Responsible for maintaining own schedule and writing survey reports.
  • Provide guidance to underwriting staff regarding risk quality/insurability.
  • Maintaining up-to-date inspection record data base.
  • Job functions break out is approximately: Desktop review/risk selection and project work (40%), On-site surveys and risk evaluation report writing of existing and prospective clients (40%), Underwriting/Broker/Team meeting (10%), General Consulting and Presentations (10%).
  • This position will include on-the-job and inhouse training.
  • Travel can be up to 25%
  • A company car is provided.
