  • Manage the day-to-day financial accounting for a portfolio of managed residential developments, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly processed, recorded and reconciled.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable for the firm and be responsible for preparing year-end audit files and supporting reconciliations.

Your new company

One of Ireland’s most respected property firms, based in Dublin 2, is seeking to hire a strong Property Management Accountant on a permanent full-time basis. This role offers hybrid and flexible working following a probationary period, opportunities for growth and provides a salary of up to €65,000 DOE with a supplementary annual bonus.

Your new role

You will administer service charge accounting for a portfolio of Owner Management Companies. Preparing annual service charge budgets in conjunction with Property Managers, monitoring service charge expenditure and ensure costs are allocated accurately. You will prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts for assigned properties and developments, producing financial statements, income and expenditure statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, forecasts and financial summaries. You’ll manage the day-to-day financial accounting for a portfolio of managed residential developments, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly processed, recorded and reconciled. You will oversee accounts payable and receivable for the firm and be responsible for preparing year-end audit files and supporting reconciliations.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, it is critical you have a minimum of 2 years' experience in property-related accounting in a role related to Owner Management Company (OMC) accounting. Experience within the property sector is essential. Working towards an accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA’s would be beneficial. You will have strong knowledge of management accounts, reconciliations and financial reporting. Working knowledge of property management/accounting software is advantageous. The role requires confidence in dealing with people, strong communication skills and the ability to react effectively to changing priorities in a busy office environment.
