About this role

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.

About the role

Sulzer's Leeds facility is a global centre of excellence for the design, manufacture and service of advanced pump technology. Serving critical industries including energy, water, chemicals and infrastructure, our Leeds site plays a key role in delivering complex engineered solutions to customers worldwide.

Following significant investment in our facilities, technology and capabilities, we're continuing to grow and are looking for a Project Scheduler to join our Planning & Scheduling team.

What will you be doing?

As a Project Scheduler, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules across a range of complex engineer-to-order projects. Working alongside Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement Specialists and Manufacturing teams, you'll ensure projects are accurately planned, risks are identified early and progress remains on track.

This is a highly visible role where your planning expertise will help drive successful project delivery and provide confidence to both customers and internal stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

We're seeking someone with:

  • Experience in project scheduling, planning or project controls.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing or project-based industries.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships across multiple teams.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to challenge and influence when required.

Experience within engineer-to-order manufacturing, heavy engineering or rotating equipment industries would be advantageous but is not essential.

Flexible Working

This role is primarily site-based in Leeds to support close collaboration with our operational teams. We also offer flexible working arrangements, including ad-hoc home working where appropriate, together with a 37-hour working week and flexi-time scheme.

Build your future with Sulzer

If you're passionate about project planning and scheduling, thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment, and want to play a key role in delivering world-class projects, we'd love to hear from you. Join Sulzer and help drive successful project execution through effective scheduling, coordination, and delivery while becoming part of our continued success story. Apply today!
