Job Overview

• Role Title: QA/QC Inspector

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Inspections & Monitoring: Conduct routine, milestone, and witness inspections across ongoing works or production lines to verify conformity with project specifications and quality plans.
• Material Receiving Checks: Inspect incoming raw materials, equipment, and components upon delivery, verifying quantities, condition, and accompanying test certificates (MTCs) before acceptance.
• Testing & Verification: Witness and document various quality tests (e.g., pressure tests, concrete slump tests, weld non-destructive testing, or dimensional checks) carried out on-site or in the laboratory.
• Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR): Identify defective work, poor craftsmanship, or non-compliant materials, immediately issue internal notifications or NCRs, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date inspection logs, checklists, daily quality reports, and sign-off sheets required for project handovers.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all inspection activities are conducted safely and in alignment with site health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience (typically 2–4 years) working as a Quality Inspector, QA/QC Technician, or Foreman within the relevant industry.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma, vocational certificate, or an associate degree in a related technical/engineering field is preferred.
• Certifications: Relevant discipline-specific certifications (e.g., CSWIP/AWS for welding, ASNT for NDT, OSHA, or ISO internal auditor certification) are a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Familiarity with measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment relevant to the trade.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email) for report generation.
• Core Competencies:

• Clear communication skills to report issues to the QA/QC Engineer and coordinate with site crews.
