  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of inspection results, including First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, in paper or electronic formats.

  • Perform data entry and data monitoring in QA SysAid and SAP.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned.

A Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting and/or testing products before, during, and after the manufacturing or procurement process to ensure that products conform to engineering specifications. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Inspection & Testing:  Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify compliance with blueprints and specifications. 
  • Audit & Compliance:  Maintain accurate, detailed records of inspection results, including First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, in paper or electronic formats. 
  • Defect Reporting:  Identify, document, and segregate defective material and products, initiate NCRs. 
  • Detailed Record Keeping:  Perform data entry and data monitoring in QA SysAid and SAP. 
  • General Duties:  Performs other duties that may be assigned. 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:  

  • High School Degree 
  • Read blueprints and material or product specifications 
  • Solve problems with rudimentary mathematical computation and geometry skills 
  • 1-year related work experience or related training or education – preferred, not required. 
  • MS Windows and MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or suppliers.                                

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to see, hear, and communicate (with or without corrective devices) in a manner that will allow the employee to perform the essential functions in a safe and proficient manner. 

Employee must be able to conform to current health and safety protocols and may be exposed to various chemicals such as lactol fuel, cleaners, etc.
