  • Inspections may involve compound angles or three-dimensional projections using inspection equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, telescope gauges, and optical comparators.

We are looking for you to join our team as an Receiving Inspector 3 based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

What you'll get to do:

  • Inspects purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements.

The ideal candidate must be able to interpret engineer drawings, sit and stand a long period of time, pay attention to detail, lift up to 30 lbs., and communicate in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications for the Receiving Inspector 3:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with 4 years of inspection experience or related fields.

  • Experience with inspection tools.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PC-DMIS experience.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • CMM experience.

  • SAP experience.

  • IPC or J-STD experience.

Primary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
