Recruitment Resource Assistant

We’re looking for a Resource Assistant to join our growing construction recruitment team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, driven, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting our recruitment consultants by identifying candidates, building talent pools, managing candidate information, and helping us deliver a high level of service to both clients and candidates.

You don’t necessarily need previous recruitment experience. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ambition to develop a career within recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and identify suitable candidates across the construction sector using job boards, LinkedIn, databases, and other platforms.
• Make outbound calls to prospective candidates and build strong relationships.
• Conduct initial candidate screening and obtain relevant experience, qualifications, and availability.
• Maintain and update candidate records and our internal database.
• Assist consultants with candidate searches for live vacancies.
• Arrange interviews and coordinate candidate availability.
• Advertise vacancies across relevant job boards and social media platforms.
• Keep in regular contact with candidates to maintain strong talent pools.
• Support the wider recruitment team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Stay up to date with construction roles, skills, qualifications, and market trends.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident and personable with excellent communication skills.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Comfortable speaking to people over the phone and building relationships.
• Proactive and motivated, with a genuine desire to succeed.
• Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• A strong team player who is willing to learn and take responsibility.
• Comfortable using computers, databases, LinkedIn, and other online platforms.
• Previous experience in recruitment, sales, construction, or a customer-facing role would be advantageous, but is not essential.
