What you'll do

  • Drive sales growth and market development for Cardiac Surgery across assigned territories through daily engagement with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and key stakeholders
  • Build strong clinical and commercial relationships with cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, interventional specialists, and procurement teams to support product adoption and business expansion
  • Provide product education, case support, and technical guidance on Medtronic technologies, including advanced cardiac surgery solutions designed to improve surgical outcomes and patient care.
  • Provide surgical case coverage, follow-up support and troubleshooting in the assigned Territory
  • Conduct customer in-services & required training for new and existing accounts on all therapies.
  • Develop relationships with physicians and hospital administration staff to ensure both clinical and non-clinical needs are identified and met
  • Work with existing key implant centers to develop and implement strategies to move accounts towards technical self-sufficiency.
  • Provide adequate training and troubleshooting help at the time of live cases.
  • Gather and communicate input from field to management regarding market trends, customer satisfaction, competition, and product issues
  • Develop ethical, positive long-term customer relationships
  • Conduct Consignment counts as required by Product and Inventory Management
  • Provide Sales Forecast data to Sales Manager upon request and in a timely manner

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 9+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 10+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience preferably in Cardiac Surgery or similar therapies.

  • Demonstrates integrity and recognized as a role model by their peers and manager along with strong Clinical selling aptitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills & Highly optimistic and indomitable spirit.
  • Excellent communicator with a good command of written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel, well organized, able to set and reset priorities, willing to work extended hours (sometime even beyond call of duty hours) to support emergency cases.

Nice to have

  • Candidate with Perfusion Technology background will be preferred.

Cardiac surgery represents end stage treatment in the care continuum for many cardiovascular diseases and this operating unit provides an intimate relationship with the Cardiac Surgeon and Cardiac OR by offering an unparalleled depth and breadth of portfolio.
We have an exciting career opportunity for a driven sales Professionals to join our Cardiac Surgery team. The primarily responsibility would be selling our range of cardiac surgery solutions to cardiac surgeons and perfusion teams in hospitals across the targeted territory.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain data relating to Customer information and Sales activity in prescribed manner within Data Management Systems
