  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, industrial projects, maintenance, or reliability;
  • Experience supporting capital project development processes, preferably within FEL or capital project environments;
  • Ability to interpret, review, and validate technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation to support sound engineering decisions;
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills demonstrated through work with operations, maintenance, health and safety, procurement, and external partners;
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and the design of reliable, maintainable, and safe engineering solutions;
  • Functional bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, is required due to the nature of the position and interactions with English/French-speaking partners, clients, or colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, or aluminum production environments;
  • Experience in machine safety.

Interactions with

  • Project Managers (PMs) (all Project Managers);
  • Construction Project Managers (CPMs) (site leads) (6);
  • Internal project stakeholders (Reliability Engineers, Maintenance, SMEs, Health & Safety, Environment, etc.);
