What you'll do
- Work closely with Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, QA and Test Automation teams to collaborate
- Work closely with various engineering managers across multiple cross-functional teams to handle Bi-weekly Production releases
- Develop self-service tools for engineers to automatically deploy changes to Production with automated quality controls, thereby enabling faster software delivery
- Flexible working with Rest API frameworks (Specifically Jenkins, Github, JIRA and Confluence APIs)
- Work with DevOps team to migrate applications from Datacenter to Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Automate the Software Release and Compliance processes wherever necessary
- Troubleshooting proficiency. (Builds, Deployments, connectivity etc...)

- Excellent knowledge with GitHub, support with git PR merge, pull, sync, etc... issues.

- Excellent facilitation, organization and collaboration skills
- Possess knowledge in SDLC methodologies, Agile preferred
- Good understanding of Microservices, Serverless/EKS and API Driven Architecture
- Effective team player with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Ability to manage risk and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
- Experience in driving release process improvements and release automation
- Self-Starter, Strong problem solver, able to partner with Program Managers, DevOps, Developers, Release Engineers and other groups across an organization
- Confident and able to multi-task and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

We at Coforge are hiring Position (17739-PE-MX-TM2-5) with the following skill set.
As a member of the Release Engineering team, you will define and support release processes and tools that enables teams to release mission critical services. You will work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment. You will influence strategy and direction of our infrastructure by helping us build scalable solutions to challenging technical problems.
