Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Manager to support an ENR client in the rapid implementation of risk registers across a large and diverse portfolio of projects within a key business function. The role will focus on facilitating risk workshops, supporting Project Managers in identifying and documenting risks into a risk register, ensuring comprehensive risk coverage, and preparing high-quality risk data for future integration into an Enterprise Project Management tool.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate risk identification and assessment workshops with Team Leads, Project Managers, and project teams.
  • Support the creation, review, and implementation of risk registers.
  • Ensure risks, controls, mitigations, and actions are documented consistently and to a high standard.
  • Promote risk management best practices and improve stakeholder understanding of the risk process.
  • Track progress of risk register completion and support reporting activities.
  • Ensure risk data is complete, accurate, and suitable for migration into an Enterprise Project Management tool.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in risk management, PMO, project controls, project governance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project, programme, and Enterprise Risk Management principles and methodologies.
  • Understanding of ISO 31000 Risk Management Principles.
  • Base knowledge of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), including schedule and cost risk analysis, would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven experience facilitating risk workshops and supporting project teams in the identification, assessment, and management of risks.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver within challenging timelines.
  • Experience working within infrastructure, utilities, engineering, or energy sectors is highly desirable.
  • Ability to drive the rapid implementation of risk registers while maintaining a high standard of data quality and risk coverage.
