Structural Engineer - Integrity

Required Competencies:

· Should have sound knowledge of Oil & Gas upstream and downstream business in the following areas

• Risk Based & conditional based assessment of structural anomalies
• Civil & Structural Inspection task and methodology & inspection Scope Optimization
• Structural Damage & Degradation Mechanisms for Onshore & offshore structures.
• Structural field repairs, procedures and specifications.
• Familiarity with International codes and standards
• Excellent verbal & written communication
• Should be able to perform structural risk & condition based assessments of Onshore & offshore structures
• Management of brownfield engineering design
• Provide insights for advanced inspection technologies in civil/structural inspections.
• Should have knowledge of corrective and preventative maintenance strategy
• Able to identify the anomaly from civil / structural inspection report (for offshore topside/underwater and onshore structure), perform risk assessment and provide repair recommendation using sound engineering judgement and best practices.
• Define inspection intervals, and acceptance criteria using RBI & IDMS Data, historical failure & degradation mechanisms
• Develop inspection scopes, NDE Selection and execution plans for structural elements.
• Review of inspection findings, photographs, laser scans and Non-destructive test results
• Support turnarounds, shutdowns and field walk-downs as required.
• Collaboration with mechanical/ RBI/ Inspection/ Process and HSE teams.
• Support reliability governance reviews.
• Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the other teams
• Experience with Office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills are essential
• Should be able to train and mentor new team member to enhance competency and capability in the team
• Excellent communication skills

Required Experience:

· 1-6 years of experience in civil & structural engineering in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy or similar brownfield environments.

· Proven experience with structural integrity, RBI.

· Familiarity with equipment supports, foundations, pipe racks, vessels, towers, stacks, marine structures, cooling towers and other civil infrastructure.

Technical Skills:

· Strong knowledge of Eurocode/ ACI/ ASIC/ API & CTI standards

· Exposure to API 580/ 581

· Understanding of corrosion mechanisms, degradation modes, and structural failure patterns

· Experience with RBI Tools (Meridium, CREDO, etc.)

· Ability to interpret inspection reports, civil & structural drawings, laser scan and NDT results & provide meaningful insight to site.

· Risk analysis, criticality ranking and inspection planning.
