Safety Officer - LTA/MRT #URGENT

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks.
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide safety training and orientation to employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and assess workplace conditions to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Review and approve risk assessments and method statements.
• Collaborate with project teams to address safety concerns and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Workplace Safety & Health or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in WSHO.
• Certifications in Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
