What you'll do
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP FICO modules.
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team. Support ongoing business operations, resolving critical incidents and realizing continuous improvement opportunities.
- Work with business and cross-functional teams to gather business user requirements, drive functional design and deliver high-quality digital solutions within the SAP FICO.
- Work with the technical consultants to develop RICEF components as per business needs.
- Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive documentation for all SAP changes, including requirements specifications, functional design documents, configuration changes, and test plans. Ensure all documentation meets the stringent standards required for pharmaceutical regulatory compliance.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
- Work self-directed and independently when needed.
- Keep abreast of SAP updates, developments, and best practices in FICO modules.

- Above 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules.
- Strong understanding of SAP FICO configuration and customization.
- Proficiency in SAP modules such as COPA, Product Costing, Activity Based Accounting, Marginal Analysis, Material Ledger etc.
- Deep understanding of business processes as well as good knowledge of technical issues in the area of financial modules.
- Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like PP, QM, FI, MM & SD.
- Basic understanding of various integration methods between SAP and external systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
- Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
Nice to have
- Having experience in S/4 HANA product costing, ML and COPA will be preferred.
