What you'll do

  • Own the use-case roadmap for one or more SDV market segments: define which vehicle lifecycle scenarios HARMAN should address, what capabilities are required, and how they compose into a coherent customer offering.
  • Conduct continuous discovery with OEM customers and Tier 1 partners: understand their development and deployment workflows, pain points, and buying criteria.
  • Work with the SDV Infrastructure and SDV Developer Experience pillars to specify capability requirements that arise from use-case needs — and validate that delivered capabilities meet the bar.
  • Define success metrics for each use case: activation, adoption, customer satisfaction, and business impact.
  • Support go-to-market: work with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Product Marketing to build the use-case narrative, demos, and commercial packaging.
  • Contribute to the HARMAN SDV brand positioning by ensuring use-case stories are clear, differentiated, and grounded in real customer value.

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years in product management, ideally for complex B2B platform or software products.
  • Experience defining end-to-end product experiences that depend on multiple underlying capabilities or services.
  • Solid understanding of the automotive software domain: OTA, SDV architecture, vehicle development cycles, or connected vehicle services.
  • Strong customer discovery and research skills — able to run interviews, synthesise findings, and translate them into prioritised product decisions.
  • Comfortable working across organisational boundaries: influencing engineering teams and capability pillars you do not directly control.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to present to customers, write clear specs, and tell compelling product stories.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with one or more SDV capability domains: OTA, software distribution, virtualisation, or testing.
  • Prior experience at an automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or automotive software platform company.
  • Exposure to AI-enhanced product features and understanding of how to position AI capabilities to enterprise customers.
  • Experience with platform business models, API ecosystems, or marketplace products.
