Pink Tile Education is supporting a welcoming secondary school in the Horsham area who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and wants to make a meaningful difference within a school environment. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, providing you with the opportunity to become a valued and consistent member of the school community. Day to day, you will: Provide dedicated support to pupils in the classroom, helping them to engage with their learning, build confidence and make progress academically and personally. Work closely with teachers and other members of staff to create a positive, inclusive and encouraging learning environment where every pupil feels supported. Offer one-to-one and small-group support where needed, adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs and helping pupils overcome barriers to their education. Encourage positive behaviour and social development, building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and helping them develop their independence, confidence and communication skills. Be a positive and reliable presence throughout the school day, supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom and contributing to the wider life of the school.
