A secondary school in Wandsworth is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated graduate to become a Secondary Teaching Assistant from September. This Secondary Teaching Assistant role is perfect for anyone interested in teacher training or youth work.

 
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across different subjects including English, Maths, and Science. You will also help pupils with additional learning needs and contribute to raising attainment.

 
Key responsibilities:

• Supporting students across the curriculum
• Running small group catch-up sessions
• Adapting resources to support different learners
• Tracking pupil progress and behaviour
• Providing in-class support to teachers

 
We’re looking for:

• A 2:1 or above in any degree subject
• Strong written and spoken English
• A genuine interest in working with young people
• Commitment to the full academic year

 
Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees, even with a UK Master’s. Sponsorship is not available, so applicants must have UK citizenship or the right to work via settled status.
