Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to move into a supportive secondary school environment?
Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Warrington that is looking for a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to join their Designated Provision.
This Secondary Teaching Assistant role offers the opportunity to work closely with a small, experienced team supporting students with mild SEN. You will provide targeted support on a one to one and small group basis, helping students access learning and develop their confidence within the school environment.
The Designated Provision has a very strong and supportive team, making this an excellent opportunity for a Secondary Teaching Assistant who wants to develop their experience of working with students with additional needs.
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with mild SEN on a one to one and small group basis
- Work within the school's Designated Provision
- Help students access the wider secondary curriculum
- Provide additional support with classroom learning and activities
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement
- Work closely with the Designated Provision team and teaching staff
