Section Head - GST/EXIM - Finance and Accounts

What you'll do
- Develop and implement GST and EXIM compliance strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for tax efficiency, duty optimization, and trade incentive maximization.
- Establish robust governance frameworks to mitigate indirect tax and trade compliance risks.
- Lead GST compliance activities including return filing, reconciliations, annual returns, audits, and Input Tax Credit (ITC) management.
- Monitor GST transactions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage import of coking coal, spares, consumables, and capital goods.
- Oversee export documentation, customs clearances, logistics coordination, and statutory export benefits.
- Administer export incentive schemes such as RoDTEP, EPCG, Advance Authorisation, and other applicable trade benefits.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, commercial, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of EXIM transactions.
- Liaise with GST authorities, Customs Department, DGFT, and other regulatory bodies.
- Handle assessments, audits, investigations, notices, and litigation matters related to GST and Customs.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance gaps.
