- Under the direction of the cover manager, supervise pupils in class during the absence of their class teacher.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage a classroom, typically at KS3 or KS4 (ages 11-16), supporting students through prepared work. This is an excellent introduction to secondary school teaching and a great addition to your CV for PGCE applications. We have a high demand for cover supervisors in Manchester schools.
Other duties will include:
- Behaviour management
- Administer clear instructions and feedback to pupils
- Discussing the set work
- Delivering engaging lessons
- Providing guidance with the set work
- Under the direction of the cover manager, supervise pupils in class during the absence of their class teacher.
