SENCO (Maternity Cover)

Full time - across Primary & Secondary

(Must be experienced SENCo and with NASENCo)

A cluster of schools based in the heart of Tower Hamlets will be seeking an experienced SENCo to step in and assist across their Primary & Secondary school where there are a high number of EHCPs and support required for SEND pupils, due to this being a maternity cover I am looking for SENCo's that have experience supporting a lot of EHCPs and across school support for SEND.

The schools you'll be supporting have recently joined a new trust meaning there has been a lot of movement for the new academic year and this may have had an affect on the learners and the families that have been part of the school, therefore you will need to be an empathetic, understanding and patient SENCo that has the experience to support families with children that have additional needs.

This will be a non-teaching SENCo role you role will be focused purely on supporting the EHCPs across the school and being the pillar of support for the SLT, teachers and support staff to advise the correct forms of SEND support they need to give to their learners.

• NASENCo & QTS
• Experience as a SENCO within a Primary/Secondary or all through school.
• Fantastic admin skills and experience working with multi-agencies
• Confident to provide SEN guidance and challenge the procedures in place when required.
• Ability to work well within a team.
