Are you a special needs teacher looking for a new opportunity? Perhaps you haven't found the right setting for you and want to work with an agency that understands you? Do you want the opportunity to teach on a smaller scale to really get to know your learners?

Parker Smith Inclusion is a SEND Specialist Consultancy and we focus on supporting either experienced or mainstream teachers looking to start their career as a specialist teacher in long term roles that are then made permanent after either 12 weeks or two terms as long as you meet the standard that the school are expecting of their permanent staff.

Being a Special Needs Teacher you have to be creative, positive, fluid and have the ability to modify the curriculum to meet the needs of SEND students that could be learning at a lower level and sometimes learning off curriculum. The lesson plan may sometimes be focused on sensory based, play based and practical based learning using lots of resources to make learning engaging and fun, this may also include enrichment that is outside of the classroom.

Ideally the Teachers that I'm looking for will have QTS status and completed their ECT induction years but I am always open to speaking with ECTs and NQTs that want to take the route to being a Special Needs Teacher.

I support schools in the London Boroughs of East London, Newham, Tower Hamlets & Hackney and are a mix of mainstream schools with SEND provisions and special needs schools, secondary & primary.
