Senior Business Analyst – Airline Domain (Load Control / Weight & Balance)
About this role
What success looks like in this role:
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Load Control / Weight & Balance processes and systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate complex operational needs into functional specifications and user stories
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate implementation of W&B logic, constraints, and regulatory requirements
- Support solution design, validation, and UAT cycles, including defect triage and resolution
- Ensure alignment with aviation standards, safety regulations, and defense compliance requirements
- Drive process improvements and optimization across load planning and aircraft configuration workflows
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and cross-functional alignment

You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong domain expertise in Load Control / Weight & Balance
- Hands-on experience with aircraft load planning systems, payload optimization, and CG calculations
- Strong understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks (e.g., ICAO, EASA, or military standards)
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical deliverables
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on defense or government aviation programs (e.g., Ministry of Defence or similar)
- Familiarity with digital aviation platforms or transformation programs
- Exposure to data modeling, system integrations, and APIs
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent)
