Location: Pune - Hybrid-Working: 3 days in office, 2 days from home.

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst - Integration & Products to play a key role in shaping and delivering scalable integration capabilities at APEXX. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of payments, technology, and customer needs - helping define solutions that enable merchants to onboard faster, configure integrations effectively, and process payments seamlessly.

You will take ownership of integration analysis end-to-end - from analysing complex acquirer and gateway requirements, through defining functional solutions, documenting technical requirements, and partnering with Product and Engineering teams to deliver robust capabilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Become the subject matter expert on APEXX's payment flows, integration architecture, and product ecosystem, leveraging AI tooling and modern analytical methods to continuously improve integration analysis, documentation, and delivery.

• Lead the analysis, functional design, and documentation of scalable payment integration solutions, defining business and technical requirements across acquirers, gateways, payment methods, APIs, and SDKs.

• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including product and interface specifications, integration requirements, API documentation, and sequence/process flow diagrams.

• Collaborate with customers, partners, Product, Engineering, and commercial teams to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguity, and evolve scalable capabilities for merchant onboarding, partner integrations, configuration, and payment processing.

• Partner closely with Engineering to drive agile practices and sprint execution, refine backlogs, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, support UAT, and ensure sprint-level delivery.

• Use SQL and data model understanding to validate integrations, interrogate data sources, and drive root-cause analysis on complex production issues.

• Translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Continuously improve analysis methodologies, documentation standards, tooling, and delivery practices.
  
  

ABOUT YOU:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record in fintech, payments, or other fast-paced, integration-heavy environments.

• Highly adaptable with strong mental agility, capable of rapidly mastering complex domain knowledge and payment ecosystems.

• Strong technical foundation with REST APIs, SDK workflows, data models, modern integration architecture principles, and SQL-based data analysis.

• Solid understanding of acquirer and gateway integrations, including the flows, data, and operational processes underpinning card payment ecosystems.

• Product-minded, organised, and detail-oriented - able to balance a strong understanding of the bigger picture with rigorous attention to detail, manage ambiguity, structure complex requirements, and drive work through to completion.

• Confident translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements and collaborating effectively across Product, Engineering, customers, and commercial partners.

• Curious, analytical, and eager to shape how integrations and products deliver value to customers.
