What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Category Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing strategic sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories.This position is responsible for developing category strategies that optimize total cost of ownership, drive supplier performance, mitigate supply chain risk, and support business growth. Working closely with Manufacturing, Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will lead sourcing initiatives, negotiate key supplier agreements, monitor market trends, and identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings. The role also oversees supplier relationship management, procurement processes, and global sourcing support, including partnerships with Acushnet (Titleist) Thailand, ensuring a resilient, high-performing supply base aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Management preferred.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, with preferred experience managing both direct and indirect spend categories.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and direct and indirect material procurement.

  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, supply chain trends, and category management principles.

  • Proven negotiation and contract management expertise.

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with a focus on cost optimization and business value.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency with procurement systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience analyzing and interpreting large data sets to support sourcing strategies and business decisions.

Pay Range: $83,849.00-$104,550.00
