Full description from employer

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE JOB

We're seeking a Director of Product Security to lead the architecture and implementation of critical features within our products, and adjacent to our products, to ultimately secure our suite of advanced technologies including artificial intelligence systems, command and control platforms, aerospace vehicles, and long range sensors. You will be responsible for leading the technical security strategy and implementation across integrated software and robotics platforms, ensuring mission assurance through hands-on security architecture and engineering leadership.

We take security seriously - this team is responsible for delivering secure products to our warfighters. This is not a typical AppSec role—Anduril’s Product Security team enables the business to secure autonomous systems, AI models running on edge hardware, and robotic platforms that operate in contested environments.

The ideal candidate has a background in electrical or software engineering, with a focus on platform security. They will be able to conduct complex security architecture reviews, research and mitigate exploits against hardware and software, and implement critical features in collaboration with other engineering teams to build resiliency into our products.

  • Engage with teams to remediate uncovered weakness in designs, implementations, integrations, and processes
