Role Definition

Manages the Hydraulic Mining Shovel value chain and resource planning by working with logistics, operations, product and process engineering, product support, and lifecycle management teams to optimize supply chain resiliency, lead time, and cost. 

Responsibilities
•    Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for value chain engineering teams; motivating and developing project and team leaders.
•    Designing and implementing the end to end value chain for a product with a keen focus on inventory, assurance of supply, cost and quality
•    Managing high-impact, long duration value chain engineering continuous improvement initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality.

Capacity Planning & Management - MFG: Knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.
 

Industrial Engineering - MFG: Knowledge of industrial engineering processes, techniques and methods; ability to design and implement various processes and support infrastructures that safely realize a desired objective or invention.
 

Strategic Sourcing: Knowledge of strategic sourcing methods, technologies and processes; ability to analyze, improve and re-evaluate organizational procurement process continuously.
